KSC Visitor Complex Employee Prearranges with Celestis
Celestis invited Beverly S. Rother to discuss her decision to prearrange a Celestis Memorial Spaceflight.
I've chosen the prearrangement services for my memorial spaceflight: Orbiting our Earth.
I am fortunate that for the past 7 years I've worked at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex in Florida, as I am truly passionate about space & astronomy!
I feel SO lucky to have been born before the space race started and feel SO excited to also watch the new space industry accomplishments & milestones, while honoring the past as well
It's a great time to be alive right now!

In January 2021, one our the guests at KSC shared with me that one of their family members was on the SpaceX launch that day ... WoW!
I was elated and intrigued so did some research on Celestis.
When I found out that I can be launched into Space *AND* have some ashes spread around our "sacred" KSC launchpads too, I signed right up!!
... Now, I'll never, ever miss another launch!! - forever!
Wish that I could afford a Moon launch ... but this will give me peace of mind that my family & friends will look up at the stars & always remember me!
Contact us for more information or to receive launch updates
Now I get to speak daily with guests about the NASA story, exciting space happenings, our beloved astronauts & the numerous launches
but I also now discuss my prearrangements with Celestis!
My motto for my memorial spaceflight? Space!! IS the Place!!
Thank you Celestis for this amazing option, hopefully in about 50 years or so, but at least my final decision is now made for me.
