While on Long Island, Trish worked at the NY Telephone Company, and she met and later married her husband, George. She spent a lot of time volunteering for numerous organizations such as the Londonderry ALERT, Sonshine Soup Kitchen, and Meals on Wheels. She was a substitute teacher in the Londonderry School system, where she greeted students with fun stickers and hugs. Trish was a member and past president of the Londonderry Women's Club; she was a den leader with Pack 901 of the Boy Scouts of America. Trish was also a Eucharistic Minister at St. Jude Parish Catholic Church in Londonderry. Trish believed every hug added 30 seconds to your life and brightened your day.
