Kindyn Rheed Jinkins

"You sought the stars when you were our universe."
1995 - 2023

"Searching the constellations to relieve this contemplation" ~ Kindyn Rheed Jinkins, 30nov95 – 12feb23

Kindyn entered this world two months early bringing so much joy to his big brother Kaison and his proud parents, Melanie and David.

For the next 27 years, Kindyn proved to be smart, handsome, and full of charm. He spent much of his time building personal computer systems, servers, and games. His charisma kept friends around him laughing, cutting up, challenging each other with perfecting skateboard tricks or gaming.

Kindyn was working to complete his education in order to work for SpaceX when his twin boys were expected.

Kindyn's twins, Lucas Reed and Nikola (Niko) Malcolm Jinkins, born April 17, 2019; both share his greatest qualities: handsome, adorable, quick easy smiles, charm, and intelligence.

Being in Lucas & Niko’s life meant everything to Kindyn. His nurturing manner while entertaining the boys came very naturally to him. Getting to watch Kindyn care and play with his boys were the most beautiful and proudest moments for his parents; how your children care for and treat others is the most basic and morally sound evidence of their soul. Kindyn's soul: perfection.

Early again, but this time so profoundly sad, on February 12, 2023, Kindyn left our physical lives to live forever in our hearts and memories as he joined God's army.

January 1, 2017 Kindyn surprised and delighted his parents by accepting Jesus in declaration of his own baptism. Who belongs to God, belongs with God.

An excellent example of Kindyn's continuous extension of mercy and grace to others; five people are alive due to his decision to donate all of his organs.

Lucas and Niko will forever have their own dedicated angel, always with them, protecting and watching over them; forever their Dad.

Nikola [Niko] was named for Kindyn's hero, Nikola Tesla. Lucas Reed was given Kindyn's middle name Rheed. (spelt as Kindyn wanted)

When Niko needed a DocBand to medically correct the shape of his head, it could only be an astronaut themed one!

Unable to complete his goals, Kindyn's parents are helping him "work" towards space exploration for all, even in death.

Kindyn's ashes will be launched on a SpaceX rocket, attached to a satellite that will orbit for up to 5 years, in a box that will act as a radiation barrier shield for the satellite. Upon decommissioning, the satellite will burn like a shooting star when re-entering the earth's atmosphere. His parents will track the satellite by GPS, and hope to witness the shooting star it will ultimately become.

Kindyn, you sought the stars, while you were the center of our universe ~mom & dad
