Charles Edward Johannsen

1926 - 2002

Charles (Chuck) Edward Johannsen, born on June 10, 1926, in Dennison, Iowa, passed away on June 2, 2002, in San Bernardino, California. He is survived by his wife Julia; sons David, Gregory, and Cristopher; granddaughter Franchesca; and sister Betty Adams. He served in the United States Navy during World War II and the Korean War and graduated from Wyoming University, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics. He was employed by Bell & Howell during most of his professional career and actively participated in, and supported, many scientific instrument trade organizations. He was retired at the time of his demise.
